Entry Requirements
To enrol in this course, learners must meet the standards of knowledge, skills, and competence associated with the preceding level of the National Framework of Qualifications.
Ideally a minimum of Level 5 certificate standard of education or base qualification on which to use the training qualification.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as computer literacy skills, are essential. Students undertaking Level 6 courses are expected to demonstrate proficiency in reading, drafting, preparing, and comprehending information across various topics. Basic IT skills and access to necessary equipment such as a computer, broadband, email, Microsoft Office, and recording equipment are required for skills demonstration tasks. Additionally, learners must be capable of self-directed study as this course is delivered through blended learning.
Progression
Successful completion of this component award enables the learner to transfer to programmes leading to other certificates where this component is a mandatory or an elective requirement.
Upon successful completion, learners can progress to Training Needs Identification and Design Level 6 (6N3325) to receive the Special Purpose Award in Training & Development (6S3372) or to relevant Level 7 components.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded a QQI Component Certificate in Training Delivery and Evaluation (6N3326)
To achieve the Special Purpose Award in Training & Development (6S3372), both Training Needs Identification and Design (6N3325) and Training Delivery and Evaluation (6N3326) must be completed.
