Basic First Aid
€80.00
The Basic First Aid Course, certified by Barrow Training, is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and understanding of how to respond effectively in emergency situations. This information-based course covers the key principles of first aid, including its importance, legal considerations, and assessment techniques. Participants will gain an overview of basic life support (BLS), CPR, and the use of an AED, as well as guidance on managing common medical emergencies such as bleeding, burns, and asthma attacks. The course also explores environmental injuries, outlines conditions requiring immediate attention, and familiarizes learners with the contents and purpose of a first aid kit. As an information-only programme, the course focuses on building awareness and confidence through discussion and knowledge review rather than hands-on practice. Participants will complete questionnaires and review key concepts to reinforce their understanding of first aid principles.
