This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of data protection, covering key aspects such as the role of the Data Commissioner, the Eight Rules of Data Protection, the Six Lawful Bases for Processing Data, Four Key Consent Considerations, relevant Definitions, the roles of Data Processor and Data Controller, and guidance on preparing for GDPR compliance.

Entry Requirements

To access this award the learner should have reached the standards of knowledge, skill and competence associated with the preceding level of the National Framework of Qualifications. This may have been achieved through a formal qualification or through relevant life and work experience.

Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as computer literacy skills, are essential.

Upon successfully finishing this Workshop, participants will receive a Barrow Consultancy & Training Certificate valid for two years.
