Entry Requirements
To access this award the learner should have reached the standards of knowledge, skill and competence associated with the preceding level of the National Framework of Qualifications. This may have been achieved through a formal qualification or through relevant life and work experience.
Ideally a minimum of Level 4 certificate standard of education and a strong interest in the provision of quality care in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as computer literacy skills, are essential. Students undertaking Level 6 module s are expected to demonstrate proficiency in reading, drafting, preparing, and comprehending information across various topics. Basic IT skills and access to necessary equipment such as a computer, broadband, email, Microsoft Office, and recording equipment are required for skills demonstration tasks. Additionally, learners must be capable of self-directed study as this module is delivered through blended learning.

The Major Award comprises eight modules, with each module being released sequentially. Upon completion of a module, learners can progress to the next one in the series.
Our QQI modules offers comprehensive blended learning with dedicated tutor support, eliminating the need for in-person lectures. Learners have a 90-day window to complete each module, starting on any Monday or Thursday.
Upon enrolment, the learner will receive login credentials to access module materials at their own convenience. Our full-time, highly qualified tutors are available via email to address any questions or concerns. Additionally, our online forums foster peer-to-peer discussions.
